We're not completely moved in, the upstairs especially is still in-progress, but its coming up on mostly un-boxed. We're even thinking about starting to invite people over someday soon.

We have a new apartment! Signed a lease and put down a security deposit for a place in Baltimore. Did the paperwork yesterday and we'll get the keys on the 15th. I'm very, very excited about moving ( Read more... )

We did it. Cleared everything out, cleaned, left the keys in the cupboard.

We don't live there anymore.

Still in limbo. It has been a long couple of weeks. Soon we'll be in a different place, life will be different. but I don't know how exactly. It's disconcerting. ( The state of the things - Short version: We don't know! )

Called the landlord to let him know we're moving. Was all nervous and prepared to make my case about not giving 30 days notice of intention to not renew based on compromised habitability conditions and whatnot; turned out I didn't need to be.
