That question deserves a whole post of its own. Yes. Eventually. Probably. Moving cross country is hard.

Last summer we were talking a lot about moving west ASAP. OMG pick up and move now. Move by the spring. Make it happen. But after putting some effort into that it's looking like the combination of shitty economy and libraries' insistence on the MLS for hiring is going to keep us here in the short term. Moving west is still the plan, but barring the unexpected it's a year out, maybe more.

I'm gratified to learn it's not just me: according to the census, fewer Americans moved this year than anytime since WWII.
