Called the landlord to let him know we're moving. Was all nervous and prepared to make my case about not giving 30 days notice of intention to not renew based on compromised habitability conditions and whatnot; turned out I didn't need to be. He was completely nonplussed by the information, said I didn't need to file anything in writing, wished me luck with the move.
