We're out of the New Carrollton apartment. It feels good.
The part that feels less good is that every surface of the new apartment is covered in boxes and bags and stuff. Oh god, so much stuff. I'm doing my best not to wig out. Most of it will go neatly away in drawers and shelves. Some of it still needs to be sifted and discarded. So that is the next priority. Hopefully soon we'll find the couch again.
It was a long day. I didn't do a lot of stairs, because Tyler is a mensch and we have good friends, but it still managed to be long. Moving wrings you out.
Generally, it's good. I'm glad to be out of the 'burbs and back in Baltimore. Really excited about the new apartment and the next... all of the what comes next. There are fun and possibility-full things coming up in the next few days. More immediately, sleep.
