Sooo we're moving. An apartment in the same complex, same size, also upstairs, yadda yadda yadda- but because we got in on a move-in special thanks to our wonderful manager here, we pay about $300 a month less.

Thank you all so much. We're doing alright, spending a little extra time with Max, Amber and each other. Your support and sympathy, the friends who came and grabbed us to go to coffee, and all of it made this easier on us. You are all loved and deeply appreciated.

Dinah is gone. She died while I was at work today. Thank you all so much for the support. It helped me more than I can say right now. I'll share it with Chris and Cat- they could use all the good energy they can get. I'm a little numb right now, but so very grateful for all of you.

Dinah will be going to the vet this afternoon, after I've gone to work. She hasn't eaten, although she did have some water, she threw some back up last night. The vet said he thought he might give her another IV bag-full and send her home, so Chris is going to ask him what would be kinder for her. Mostly for those who know our household. Dinah, our elder cat, was hospitalized this morning. She hasn't been well, but we thought it was just a slow recovery from a cold she had. My birthday was on Friday, and Chris had been teasing me about a gift he made for me.
