Because it was silly of me not to post this here too!
My birthday was on Friday, and Chris had been teasing me about a gift he made for me. It's been kind of tight around here, and we knew we weren't going to be able to do much to celebrate, like we usually would, but I knew any gift he made was going to be wonderful- I just didn't know it was going to be the best gift I've gotten, like, ever. I think this was worth more than anything anyone could have bought me. He made this with his own two hands and power tools guys- I am loved. And having an artist for a partner is all kinds of joy.
Speaking of being tight- We're coming round to realizing that we're going to have to move, what with the rent increase. Did I mention that? Our rent went up almost $400. We're not on affordable anymore, which is nice in that we no longer have incomes low enough to qualify for affordable housing, but it sucks since we no longer pay less on the rent. There are cheaper places to live, and we've been looking, so no worries- just much less fun. But there have been good things happening too- just have to be circumspect about them until, oh... the 17th or so. ;D Let's just say one of our major worries is now safe at home, and we appreciate everything everyone has done to make it possible.
But I posted this to share my new favorite thing EVER. Let me know what you think!

I love the way this was built:
And I had to fill it right away! The bottom has space for my imps and the 10ml bottles.
It's just perfect! There's room for 125 BPAL bottles. All the bottles fit snugly, and he designed it to have a handle so I can bring it along to any Meet and Sniff I might go to.
Best gift ever.
