An update I wish I didn't have to make

Mostly for those who know our household. Dinah, our elder cat, was hospitalized this morning. She hasn't been well, but we thought it was just a slow recovery from a cold she had. We'd been talking about taking her back in, but wanted to wait until we were a bit more solvent. This morning Dinah let us know she couldn't wait. I don't think she's going to make it. Chris is devastated- she's his cat and he's got some hard choices facing him. I guess we all do, really. I'm home today, waiting on the final word from the vet- she's on an IV and having blood tests done, so we have some little hope, but the vet said Dinah's prognosis looked bad.
I guess I'm just asking that you please send some love and hope this way. We love Dinah very much and I don't want to say goodbye yet.
