Like a lot of new posters here, I recently found this comm and have spent the last couple of days reading back as far as I can. It's great to see so many people being supportive of other people's tattoos, ideas etc.

I have a pretty usual problem and would really appreciate some advice =)

So, like basically everyone else I too, have been creeping around this ridiculously fantastic site for a couple of months now. I can't say enough about how creative, inspiring and beautiful all of your tattoos are. Does anyone here have a behind the ear tattoo?

I am thinking about getting the word "open" tattooed behind my ear. . .possibly in white, but definitely something subtle.  The only pictures of behind the ear tattoos I have been finding are stars and other very bold designs; I'm looking to find examples of words tattooed there.

I have a Le Petit Prince tattoo on my arm (very similar to one posted a month or two ago) that I got as a black outline, because that's kind of my style (I have 3 tattoos and no color thus far).  However, I find it a little too... minimalistic?  I don't know.  The point being, I want to get it filled in.

I'm pretty excited to find this community. I only have 2 tattoos, and the most visible one is on my chest. It's a phrase from D. H. Lawrence's stories, "St. Mawr" and "The Man Who Died" and it is latin for 'touch me not'. I've been reading Matthew Battles' Library: An Unquiet History (yes, I am that nerdy) and it makes me think of the possibilities of the word "geniza" as a tattoo, since he devotes quite a few pages to the one in Cairo.
