So, like basically everyone else I too, have been creeping around this ridiculously fantastic site for a couple of months now. I can't say enough about how creative, inspiring and beautiful all of your tattoos are. I had been throwing around a few ideas for a new tattoo (which would be my second), one of my ideas having been something literary. Needless to say after spending hours looking at everyone's pictures here, I'm definitely going with the literary tattoo. I've already decided on the quote -- from a Robert Frost poem, and I've already decided on the placing -- my ribs, but where I could use some guidance is choosing a font.
(I'm sorry if that cut didn't work, first time.) The quote is from 'Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening', "But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep." I've always loved this poem, and it means a lot to me as a way of looking at life (I know there are many death/dying references), I always looked at it as just remembering to stop and really enjoy everything around you, and not rush through. But then, those two lines in particular related to me for the promises I need to keep to myself (not getting stuck in this place in my life with my job and where I live....I realize it's kind of the opposite meaning of the entire poem). And, also being a runner, these lines also relate to that aspect of my life. I know I want this to be in a script font, and I've found a few I'd love to have some opinions on.
I love LOVE the first one, but I know what everyone says about bleeding, etc. If anyone has other font suggestions, please share! Thanks!
