I got involved in a tiny little discussion in fabu's LJ about the extent to which fans use their real names online. When I re-watched the Buffy movie with Padma, it occurred to me that as little as I like Luke Perry, Pike was actually a better boyfriend than most of the guys Buffy has dated since.
