So. Various things. I barely even know where to start.

Eurocon, maybe? I went Sunday, as I said I would, and it was nice. I don't know that I'd bother to go to a similar con further from home, but it was an interesting and pretty much enjoyable experience.

bookshop articulates the frustrations of subtext in a much more eloquent way than I ever could. Personally, I tend to choose happy, adventurous subtexty stories over openly gay stories that end in misery and are All About Being Gay, but I understand people making a different choice, and I hate having to choose at all. So. I'm still into the new Sherlock Holmes movie, to the extent that even the girl I went to see it with (and who also liked it) called me a fangirl and teased me about my love for Watson.
