My family did Christmas last night due to scheduling reasons. We did it all, starting at 7pm: Brie and pesto with crackers (Sister #2 is a classy-ass bitch), ham, presents, pie, It's a Wonderful Life, the whole event. So today was a quiet day. Came home on Wednesday night (National Cat Day) to my Kindle Fire in the sink. Specifically in a pot with three inches of water that I was letting soak. I'd left it on the counter with my iPad, which was fortunately too wide for the pot and was lying on top of it. Very nice yesterday. Started out Adopting A Highway with...not coworkers, because I was the only one from our building there, but other people under the parent company. People kept finding money. Two kids found $20s and an adult found a one. My theory is the owner of the company salted the area to gin up interest for next time. After about 90 ( Read more... ) -

Alive, I swear!
So I haven't posted yet this year. Hi. Boring, busy, and tired. Work kicked into overdrive in mid-December and hasn't stopped. On December 19th (last day I posted, hey!) we started two extremely similar projects that could only be called after 8pm. I went to Target tonight to buy Pitch Perfect. The deal was buy the movie and the soundtrack, get five bucks off your total. The movie was cheaper at Wal-Mart, and I've already...uh...acquired the soundtrack, but Target CDs usually have exclusive stuff, so I went to check it out ( Read more... ) -
