I went to Target tonight to buy Pitch Perfect. The deal was buy the movie and the soundtrack, get five bucks off your total. The movie was cheaper at Wal-Mart, and I've already...uh...acquired the soundtrack, but Target CDs usually have exclusive stuff, so I went to check it out ( Read more... )

My March calendar at work is very full, and I mistakenly thought the Blu-Ray was out next week, not the week after. I'm a sad Joybear now.

We got to the theater at 10:15 and were having trouble finding seats. There was a specky little git that was "saving" practically a whole row that especially rankled me. Rachel Maddow had Rep. Joe Sestak (D-PA, fmr. Naval Rear Admiral) on her show yesterday. They opened and closed the interview by wishing each other "Happy Veteran's Day". The weather on Friday was very warm. Mid-30s. I found this to be Very Bad because I knew there would be a lot of melting, which would then re-freeze after dark. I was correct, and scraped my left hand knuckles when I slipped on the ice while coming down the front walk Saturday night. I also have a large mottled bruise on the heel of that hand.
