So, I survived the surgery. It was tough with the pain and all and the nurses put me on morphine through the IV which made me so sick. I have never thrown up as much as I did that day. After 5 hours of all that fun, the evening nurse got smart and asked the doc to order me another painkiller that wouldn't make me sick. They took me off the morphine ( Read more... )

Kenny took the day off Monday and we went down to Lancaster for my consutation with the surgeon. He was very nice and seemed very easy to communicate with. He assured us that this is a very common procedure, and that I have nothing to worry about. I went to the doctor this morning for my follow up. The doctor told me that I do in fact have either stones or polyps in my gall bladder. He refered me to a surgeon in Lancaster, and assured me that he's good. So, I guess I'm having surgery soon. I can't wait to stop being sick ( Read more... )

I'm finally getting my car! (in a couple of weeks!) Kenny's friend at work bought a car for his daughter to drive to school in (she goes down to LA) and his wife didn't like the car he bought because the daughter goes through mountainous areas and it wouldn't be safe so, they're selling it. Yesterday, I went in to have my endoscopy. This is the closest I've been to actually being admitted to the hospital. Thank God Kenny took the day off to be there for me-I was scared to death. I found a car on autotrader that I want. It's a '95 Nissan Maxima. V6 new engine still under warranty, black with black leather interior, ac, cd, automatic, moon roof, security alarm, the works.
