I wrote this for my husband, Let me know what you think!

The sunrise illuminates the heavens
And I awake to the warm breath on my ear
The feeling of the strong arms that encircle me
Comforts my mind, centers my soul

I open my bleary eyes
And focus on the man next to me;
He is the one thing in my life
I know was meant to be

As I watch him deep in sleep
I know it's me in his dream
He pulls me closer still to him
And I settle in against his skin

I have a sense of peace
My heart sings a love song
To him, the one I tell my dreams to
The one I share my life with

He finally opens his eyes and smiles at me
Happiness spreads across his face
Leaning in, he kisses me
And lovingly runs his fingers through my hair

He tells me of how he feels for me
So willing to share all he has and is
A love so intense and pure
Oh, how I adore this man!

He takes my hand in his
And I glance down to see
The wedding band I placed on his finger
A gift of forever love from me

I remember the day I put it there
Like it was just yesterday
The vows we took will never get old;
Echo in our life together " To have and to hold"

My heart belongs to him
The one I know was sent by God for me
From the day we met till now and always
He is my friend, my lover, MY HUSBAND.
