Update...
Kenny took the day off Monday and we went down to Lancaster for my consutation with the surgeon. He was very nice and seemed very easy to communicate with. He assured us that this is a very common procedure, and that I have nothing to worry about. It was confirmed that I'll be in the hospital over night, which doesn't make me happy but, I guess it could be worse. The surgeon told me to expect a call within a week from his office to set the date. It'll be done before the end of the month. I just want to stop being sick, and I want my life back.
Kenny promised me that once I heal and I'm back to normal, and he starts the new job and gets his first paycheck, that he'd take me to the ocean front hotel in Santa Monica I've had my eye on for a weekend. It's going to be great. It's got oceanview rooms, italian linens, 42" plasma screen tv in the room, bath robes, etc. I can't wait.
This summer will be a good one for Kenny and me, I think. I'll have my health back (I hope!!!!!), and my car, we'll be at least renting a house, paying off a couple of big bills, and be living a much better, more comfortable life.
