I went to the doctor this morning for my follow up. The doctor told me that I do in fact have either stones or polyps in my gall bladder. He refered me to a surgeon in Lancaster, and assured me that he's good. So, I guess I'm having surgery soon. I can't wait to stop being sick.
Kenny had an interview with Wyle Labratories on the base here in Ridgecrest today. About an hour after the interview, he got a call from the hiring manager saying that they had no problem hiring Kenny for the amount he specified. A couple of hours later, Kenny called me to say that Wyle just called to offer him the job for a thousand dollars more a year than he'd asked for, and that they wanted him to sign the papers this afternoon, and to start on April 24th. He's taking the job and he gave his notice at Dryden today. No more commute! He'll be making more money now and he'll get a 3 day weekend every other weekend, better benefits, and they will pay all his college costs, and he was hired for a Lead position too. I'm so proud of him. We still would like to try Omaha at some point too; that's just on the back burner for now. Our next goal is to get out of this apartment complex and into a house. It's going to be great!
