Good news: Monday morning we sign the lease for the new apartment. Woohoo! I should probably get a start on some cleaning, and boxing stuff. And getting rid of other stuff. Got the application and deposit in for the new apartment, they just have to do a credit check on Chris and criminal background checks on both of us, which should be just dandy. The other person who's looking to rent at the same place didn't show up there today, so we were put down for the 12th floor apartment that I was hoping for. Woohoo! It ( Read more... ) -
Maybe a new home!
I looked at three more apartment complexes today, and called one to say we were definitely wanting to go for it. I'm hoping we can somehow get the 12th floor apartment at this one building because man, I fell in love with that balcony view. I can see the Ottawa River from there! Gah and Yay.
Gah: The Indigo website keeps being dumb. Trying to apply for a job there and it's saying, "LOL, you can not has." On the bright side, it saves profile information and whatnot so I don't have to put in stuff again. I just need to keep trying, I suppose. I did get an application out for Michael's.
