OMG! i made pasta puttanesca for dinner tonight...partially in celebration for the fact i turned in the keys to the old apartment today *sob sob* (hahaha). it's SO GOOD and SO SPICY. and it makes A LOT.

Once upon a time, I went on a ROAD trip, with my mom.  Up from Washington DC across Niagra Falls and across Canada to Detroit.  Whilst on this road trip, we bought a bottle of a YUMMY wine based Irish Cream from a winery there, and I would like to get another, the original was for my brother who lent us his HUGE cell phone, this was 13 years ago, ( Read more... )

The last time I made this was roughly four years ago, but it's an old favorite of mine, so while at the store I picked up some stew-cut beef and a coraff of burgundy wine and made some for dinner. Last night for dinner I decided to make Basque Chicken Casserole. I got the recipe from an old issue of BBC Good Food. It involves a tomoato, capsicum, white wine sauce. Bake it in the oven and top off with fresh basil, capers and lemon zest.

It was pretty yummy...
