The shootings -- not just in CT, but really every time guns are used to kill innocent people -- are tragic, but moreso because they could be solvable but for political logistics. Trying Something Again
Time management is one of my greatest weaknesses. I just can't seem to get a handle on it. So I've written up a spreadsheet that breaks the day into half hours. Every half hour I need to be doing something different than the half hour before, and I find it works best in a work/break pattern. Projects
I'm not doing any resolutions this year. I'm actually rather a fan of the concept, as they exist as an interesting test of one's willpower but at the moment my willpower is not at its best. One Of Us!
We're doing a few performances of Bye Bye Birdie, and one of the main cast (Randolph) is a little kid, so we have two of them. Child labor laws or something. To save time, they rehearse together, and the Randii, as they've taken to being called, are now familiar enough with their part to sing and speak in unison.
