Last evening Dave and I took the dogs to Rainbow Rocks. It's a place on a gamelands out past Cranberry. They should make it into a county park or something. It's so unique with huge rocks sticking up out of the ground. Pictures:( Read more... )

Up at 4 am this morning. Before I went to bed last night I heard the far off sounds of fireworks somewhere. Not Franklin, because their's will be on Monday. Rainy was scared and hiding under the table where I was painting.

My yesterday didn't go as I originally planned. Just puttered around the house in the morning. Didn't make an effort to get out and hike anywhere. Then our tax lady called around noon and wanted some papers that I had neglected to give her before so I said I'd drive them over.
