Chickens. This morning I noticed that Dorothy wasn't feeling well. Standing hunched up and not eating. She's the one that gets picked on the most. She is the nicest, tamest, friendliest chicken. It just makes me sad.

Nancy just sent me an email asking why I didn't write yet today - wondering if I was okay. I am okay - I just forgot to sit down to do my LJ writing this morning. On Mondays (a hiking day) things go very fast in the mornings. Good morning.
Of course, being me (a procrastinator), I didn't do the cleaning yesterday like I should have so I have both cleaning and cooking to do today. That's okay. Now I'm actually motivated.

This morning is OA and then I want to devote the rest of the day to cleaning. Tomorrow a day for cooking. Chloe and Mike, Jules and the boys will get here around 5. Dave's going to make a fire in the fire circle so that'll be a good place to gather too before and after dinner. The weather is cooperating - going to be sunny all day.
