My yesterday didn't go as I originally planned. Just puttered around the house in the morning. Didn't make an effort to get out and hike anywhere. Then our tax lady called around noon and wanted some papers that I had neglected to give her before so I said I'd drive them over. It was a good excuse to go to Titusville and check out where the parking lot was for my future hike to the Cow Run Shelters at Oil Creek. I went on a few little dirt roads I had never been before. By the time I was done with that I was tired and just came home instead of doing the shopping. Today I have a dentist appointment (cleaning) and I figure I can do the shopping after that. Yesterday afternoon Dave and I took the dogs down to the creek and lake. A few pictures of the moon and rocks and water:
Reminded me of a tooth.
A rock that looked like wooden particle board.

Clamshells under water at the lake's edge. Looks like the otters were eating pistachios.
Little drainage stream in the woods. The low sun gave it a mysterious look.
Someday (soon?) I will have a picture of this tree laying down on the lawn when it finally gives up.
