48 Arizona
If you've been paying attention, you know that I've got at least partial credit for Arizona, because I've been to Four Corners National Monument, which also covered my initial visits to Utah and Arizona. On the same trip my family went to the Grand Canyon, and since that day I have never returned to Arizona.
There are certainly sufficient reasons to return. The current spring training home of the Oakland Athletics is Phoenix Memorial Stadium. My fraternity brother PWG lives in Phoenix. That seems like a gimme even if I wait until after 2015 when it looks like the A's will be moving to a park in Mesa. There are plenty of other Cactus League teams in the area, including the Indians.
Now that I'm old enough to remember it I would really like to go back to the Grand Canyon. I'd be interested in seeing Meteor Crater. I'm sure there are other things worth visiting to; any city as large as Phoenix must have some culture worth checking out.
