I've been to
Pennsylvania many, many times. There have been day trips to Pittsburgh for baseball, concerts and most recently for a job fair at Pitt that my company had a booth at. I've driven through the northwest corner of the state (aka, Erie) on the way to visit family or to go to Toronto more times than I can count. On one memorable occasion I drove straight through the state to New Jersey on Saturday and back on Sunday as I helped my little brother Vic move back home from Cleveland. I haven't managed to make it to Philadelphia yet, but given the many friends I have there that's certainly going to happen some day.
For all these trips through the state, I can only recall actually having slept in the state two nights total; once for
mokatz's wedding and again when we visited him a few years ago and stayed at
darlox's father's house. This may mean that the ratio of hours spent in Pennsylvania to nights slept there is greater than it is for any other state.
I also have not the faintest idea when I first entered the state of Pennsylvania. I assume that at some point in my childhood my family drove through it on the way to visit relatives in New York or New Jersey, but I can't vouch for that.
