My boss, Ruddy, pronounced Roo-dee, is from Haiti. Yesterday he read our palms and told us how to get to paradise. Apparently I am on my first or third life - he says you get three. Am probably the first person to quit the gym directly after New Years. It's just incredibly inconvenient and trafficy to go there, now that my job is back in Warrick. Also, Amy and I have been walking and running a lot and I've been feeling pretty good. I'm sure once it warms up again I'll get back into running for free outside ( Read more... ) -

You know you watch too much Alias when you accidentally add a teaspoon and a half of salt to your coffee at work, take a big swig, and with your mouth full what is obviously chemicals, slowly turn around and eye everyone in the lunchroom, considering who it was that laced the coffee with methylene chloride, before looking down and seeing the morton ( Read more... ) -

sleigh ride
i miss those highs i used to get from coffee. like no matter what was going on, you just sit down with a cup of joe and all is well again. not like normal well. more like supergreat. if only it didn't burn my throat and eat my stomach and make my head all confused and useless. then. i would be all over it. i've gotten to the point of only drinking ( Read more... ) -
don't let me down
Slightly concerned about drastic high heart rate when at the gym. Was on elliptical machine and within two minutes, my heart rate was 184. Within 8 minutes it was at 194. There is a little chart for what your heart rate should be for your age. For a 20 year old, it tops out at at 140. For a ten year old, it's about 168 for high intensity fat ( Read more... ) -

Finally had a day off today. This six or seven in a row thing is exhausting. My attempt to sleep as long as humanly possible resulted in my getting up at 9:45, but A for Effort. Or E maybe.
