Slightly concerned about drastic high heart rate when at the gym. Was on elliptical machine and within two minutes, my heart rate was 184. Within 8 minutes it was at 194. There is a little chart for what your heart rate should be for your age. For a 20 year old, it tops out at at 140. For a ten year old, it's about 168 for high intensity fat burn or whatnot. Maybe this is just because I am way out of shape? (I mean I don't seem to gain weight but I get winded going up the stairs yknow.) I'm only jogging on the thing it's not like I've got blazing speed going or anything.
