Hanging out on a quiet Sunday night might be the best time for my first post in nearly a year.
Spent the day being bro-ductive - got 2 out of 3 credit reports ordered, my FICO is average at one credit place and excellent at another so who knows. The third one says it can't be processed at the moment. Slightly nerve-wracking but I found no errors on the previous reports.
Just went shopping at the Smithfield Commons, which I have only discovered recently. It is only 10 minutes away and has Target, Kohl's, Dick's (sporting goods), Linens & Things, Bath & Body, Pacsun, Claire's, Barnes N' Noble, a Pantera Bread, and American Eagle and others all in one convenient, never crowded mega-plaza. And the sizes never seem to be picked over.
I got two perfectly fitting pairs of Bullhead jeans for 55$, normally 40 a piece, and a grey Billabong jacket with a furry hood for $18 dollars that normally goes for 75-100. And just to top it all off, for spending over 50 bucks they gave me a $25 off coupon for the next fifty i spend. Good lord. Success.
I'm enjoying a Starbucks Vanilla Soy Latte due to some lactose intolerant tendencies. (If this all goes down the way I it's headed, I am really going to miss cheese.)
Oh and don't go trying to use your Starbucks gift card in the Starbucks at Barnes and Noble. The barista girl looked at me like I just fell off the turnip truck and says "Ugh! You can't use this. This is Barnes and Noble." What? I looked down sheepishly at the Starbucks cup she hands me of latte that I ordered off the Starbucks menu and waited for it to turn into a book. Who'd have thought.
Trying to decide between another episode of Gilmore Girls and another round of doing taxes.
