Back from vacation
Well, it's almost been two weeks now, but given my habit of procrastinating, I'm only posting now.
Since the beginning of August, I've started a new internship in infectious diseases, which is pretty interesting, with the doctors always asking us questions and explaining stuff to us. Hopefully, I'll master antibiotics by the end of it. On the ( Read more... ) -

I should be studying. Really, I should. I even have my lessons right next to me in front of the television, and instead, I'm watching England/USA. What can I say, the match is just so much more interesting than France/Uruguay yesterday. First week in pediatrics

Snow shoeing
I am aware this post's main goal is to show off pictures I took on Saturday while snow shoeing. I know, it's bad, but the view was so spectacular I just had to share!

New Beginning
Today was the first day of my new internship. I'll be working in the cardiology ICU for the next three months. This particular unit doesn't have the reputation of being very interesting for med students, but I'm determined to learn as much as I can. Besides, I love cardiology and I'm intrigued by the ICU, so it should be an interesting mix ( Read more... )
