New Beginning

Today was the first day of my new internship. I'll be working in the cardiology ICU for the next three months. This particular unit doesn't have the reputation of being very interesting for med students, but I'm determined to learn as much as I can. Besides, I love cardiology and I'm intrigued by the ICU, so it should be an interesting mix

Yay for a new internship, hope all goes well and the parts you enjoy outweigh the less than pleasant parts!

Haven't seen Up In the Air yet, may wait until its out on DVD. Some friends want to see Avatar in IMAX 3-D this weekend but I haven't decided if I am going to tag along or not yet, not sure it is really my thing. I may wait for the IMAX until either Alice and Wonderland or How to Tame Your Dragon comes out. I have however been to see Sherlock Holmes 3 times so I suppose I should branch out a bit.

Well, I recommend both Avatar and Up in the Air, though if you had to chose one to see in the movie theater, it would be Avatar. The story isn't the most original or complex, but you get sucked into it and I thought the 3D was completely worth it. As for Up in the Air... Well, you saw my review. It's awesome!

Good Luck with your internship! It will be hard work, no doubt, but I'm sure the experience will be amazing!

I want to see "up in the air". I've heard it's awesome! Plus, I've always been a sucker for George Clooney! :)

I'm motivated for my internship, and I think it'll go well. Thought after working there today all day long, I'm already exhausted and there wasn't much work to do!

And you should really go see Up in the Air, it's great. By the way, did you hear about the Oscar nominations?
