Yesterday was marginally productive - the battery for the Buell recharged overnight, so it was good to go after I'd left the light on for a few hours on Friday, and I went out to run some errands. Yesterday's ride went fine, there was a bit of rain right when the road got interesting, but it went pretty well. I was getting between 49 and 55 miles per gallon, and Phil and I went and sat in a Hot Springs-fed pool in Hot Springs, AR once we got there. We also saw many, many animals, living and dead. Yesterday, I went to the dentist. Despite my dread at not having been for quite some time, It turned out that I have no cavities and just needed the usual (painful) cleaning. So, that's reassuring.

I've now got the traction control system in the Lexus working again, thus extinguishing two of the three yellow lamps on the dash. I also have parts ordered and incoming to fix the final remaining outstanding issue - the vehicle speed sensor wiring on the transmission. korosz and I went to my Grandma's place in Michigan for Thanksgiving this year. My entire family, minus three cousins, was also there for various parts of it. It was a very social weekend, and quite good over all. It was nice to see the relatives I hadn't seen in sixish or so years. Many of them are now married and actively engaged in sprogging.
