I got a piece of wire in my rear tire on the motorcycle today. When I say "in", of course, I mean "all the way through". So I went to go to the other building, and I noticed that my motorcycle had a flat tire. If you have a recipe that calls for fresh grated ginger, it is so much easier to deal with it when it's frozen. You can just scrape the peel off with the side of a knife, and when it's frozen, you can just run it through the microplane and it won't clog at all, AND it goes through really quickly. Purple yams do not have enough starch or internal moisture to make really good potato pancakes. They should be mixed with normal sweet potato or normal potato for best results. Also, they do not remain sufficiently purple when cooked.
