My washing machine decided to commit suicide yesterday, vomiting various parts out of the bottom and shedding some vanes off of the drum, cracking it. It is pretty much toast. Fortunately, Craigslist provided me with a replacement Maytag unit from Maytag's "Indestructible" and "User-serviceable" era. I swapped the two out this afternoon, and ( Read more... )

I got the GTO back yesterday. It's all up and running, but needs a little exhaust work and a session at the tuner.

Scylla spent last night trying to be a teddy bear (you know, that just looks weird when you type it). She crawled into the hollow between me and my body pillow and curled up there and went to sleep.
