Just a few days ago I had Charlotte in a t-shirt and her wool longies, now she's toddling around the house in just a fitted diaper.  We all went to the pool tonight and that helped cool her off enough to go to sleep, with the fan parked in front of her bed and Charlotte wearing nothing but a double stuffed Fuzzi Bunz.

How crunchy are you??

I scored 112 - whole grain goodness but not quite grape nuts ;-) 

I think my milk supply is a little low.  I've upped my alfalfa intake and I'll probably pick up some fenugreek or blessed thistle today.  Charlotte has been fussy, especially at the breast, and her diaper was almost completely dry this morning o.O  I put her on the toilet and she peed a little and her urine was very yellow.  I know I haven't been ( Read more... )

Another migraine last night.  Yippee.  It started after supper and by 10 o'clock I was ready to throw up, so I took some tylenol, swaddled Charlotte tight and took her to bed with me.  She nursed to sleep but my head was still pounding, so much that it hurt to lay down and it took me another 45 minutes to convince myself to get up and take some ( Read more... )

Yesterday, Charlotte wouldn't nap no matter what I tried.  Finally, at 4 pm, 
I put her in the Hotsling again and let her chew and suck on my finger knuckle
until she slept.

* Charlotte tried to laugh the other day.  I was blowing on her tummy during a diaper change and every time I stopped and looked at her, she would "laugh".  It was like a long, loud exhale with a giant smile  - "HAAAAAAAAAAH".  She did it over and over again and made me laugh and cry.  I tried to get her to do it again on the phone for Jack, but ( Read more... )

I finally took Charlotte to bed with me after midnight because I was falling asleep standing up and she just wouldn't fall into a deep enough sleep to be put down.   She nursed to sleep, then woke up an hour later to nurse again!  Grrrr.  She nursed at least twice during the night and I woke up at 8:30, but she is just now waking up at 9:30!  I ( Read more... )
