Man, how do I even catch up after 2.5 weeks? Yikes. TBH, I don't even remember what I was doing two weeks ago.

I do remember Palm Sunday (Apr 14), however: ( Medical emergency - not ours - at church )

MiniPlu and I spent the long weekend in MA visiting three colleges, as well as the Springfield Museums (specifically for the Dr. Seuss museum, but we also peeked in to a couple of the art museums, as well) and, as an unexpected bonus, we got MiniPlu's prom dress.

As many of you know, Two LOVES penguins. Penguins have been his favorite animal since kindergarten-ish, when he saw Surf's Up. He has a million zillion stuffies, the vast majority of which are penguins. And penguins are, of course, always his favorite stop in zoos and aquariums (if they have penguins, that is).

My plane arrived back from the west coast just before 2a EST this morning, which meant I didn't get into bed until 3:30a and even then it took me awhile to settle down enough to sleep. I hauled myself up a little after 10a and that, plus a nap, plus jetlag, means I shouldn't have any trouble seeing the New Year in. Happy New Year to all my ( Read more... )

So, I'm in CA visiting my mother for Christmas, and will see the rest of the relatives tonight at the annual Christmas Eve Party For Jews gathering at my great-grandma's old house in the city. Things are going pretty well, aside from Two being a stubborn uncooperative cuss, as usual, and my mother sometimes getting on my nerves. I'd say more ( Read more... )
