Geez ... how can you lose your passport? Really??? Sorry this has caused so much trouble for everybody else. I hope MiniPlu is feeling okay by now? And has had fun in my beloved UK and Eire??? ;-)
"Time after Time" is my fave Cyndi Lauper song as well ... I just love the melody and the sadness of it. Sorry, I'm weird like that ...
Oh man, ugh to the lost passport holding up everyone! (though I'm relieved they figured out a way to get her through passport control anyway. Such a nerve-wracking situation!)
(I will say, we do not carry the passports on our person if we have a place to securely lock them up, but we never leave them out of our sight where other people have access, and also carry a lot of copies and photographs and things which should hopefully make them easier to replace if something ever does happen, knock on wood.)
Yes, in the roof of my mouth, 1988.
Oh my god, that's awful!
Orange you glad this is the last knock-knock joke?
Hee! I like this version better than the "banana" one :D
Also: HAPPY BIRTHDAY! :D I hope the kids and the grown-ups all spoil you today and are also perfectly behaved, you get to spend time doing just what you want, and are showevered in fun and frivolous things. And that you have a fantastic year from here on out!
Happy belated birthday to O! I hope he had a good day yesterday? (Two days ago, by the time you read this.)
And thank you for the book! I look forward to reading it. :) The day was quiet, but not unpleasantly so, and we enjoyed a nice dinner out with my chocolate cake at home after. Hope you're having a great time!
(Oh, and the bee had climbed into my Coke can, while we were out at the senior class picnic at a local water park. And I naively thought it was safe to drink. :P)
Oh dear! I had my passport pinched/went missing when I was 11, I've never had one since. I'm 34 now. Maybe I should have had mine sewn into my knickers, lol.

Will losing his on our honeymoon in Vienna was definitely traumatic, and not something I ever want to repeat.
