Ok, I realize at this point I owe an update so massive, it's ridiculous.

School: Got out on 22 June, super late. Two took his senior pictures that same day. We got his proofs in early July and sucked it up to order a couple, despite the ridiculous price tag for senior pics, so we could complete the set of school photos we have in one of those ( Read more... )

Ugh, it's been disgustingly hazy hot and humid lately, with no end in sight. I mean, I've had worse, but that doesn't make it fun. Thank God for central air conditioning.

Spent another four hours weeding and picking things out of my veggie garden on Sunday morning; I had to get up at 6a in order to get it done before it got too meltingly hot. ( Read more... )

As many of you know, Two LOVES penguins. Penguins have been his favorite animal since kindergarten-ish, when he saw Surf's Up. He has a million zillion stuffies, the vast majority of which are penguins. And penguins are, of course, always his favorite stop in zoos and aquariums (if they have penguins, that is).
