I always have problems thinking about stuff I want to have for my birthday either. And my family doesn't like to buy "only" books ... makes it difficult. *lol*
My mother likes to give gifts you can unwrap, so she doesn't like to do Kindle gifts or gift cards. And she does tend to think of movies/music/books on Amazon to be fairly boring, at least if that's ALL one gives. One of the paper books I received was from her, although she did spice it up with some other things, like a pound (0.6kg) of my favourite tea, a few other small items, and she's also been writing down a lot of her childhood and young adult memories the past few years as Christmas/Birthday gifts, so I have copies of those to keep for the future.
I do like books for gifts, but not when that's ALL I get, from just about every single person. As much as I love books, and I'm especially happy about a particular few of the higher-priority items I received from my list, it's nice when there's a little variety, you know?

I'd have to get my parents to do that!

Crossing fingers that the Stelara kicks in and gives you respite soon!
I do not have mountains of zucchini - but I am bookmarking that recipe anyway - as I can pretend that it is healthy and still have muffins :D
EDIT: wait - you only used 1/4 cup of sugar? No - re-reading, you removed 1/4 cup - ok good to know :D
