Gah, summer is kicking my butt. I have almost no time to myself during the day, with kids underfoot, plus physical therapy and various other appointments, obligations, etc and then in the afternoon there's what I like to call "enforced leisure" aka "taking the kids to the pool". So, instead of diving into the stack of books I got for my birthday, I downloaded and devoured the sequel to Widdershins, ( Threshold )

Kind of a weird day. What was foremost on my mind, aside from "I hate colds and I need a new nose because I can't breathe" was "It's been one year to the day since I woke up with impaired vision in my right eye". The rest of my week last week was ... eh, ok. Did ... stuff (uh, I think I ran 3 miles, went to the grocery store and ... I don't know what else) Thursday morning, worked the school library in the afternoon, and went to TKD that night. ( We were promised a mock tournament, but, alas, earwax )

I woke up feeling just about human again!

Felt well enough to attend my belt test. Am now an orange belt. :)

We had light snow all day, enough to leave tiny fluffy balls in the trees - looked like cherry blossoms had bloomed early. Very pretty.

Because nobody here currently has an iPod of any sort....

I know that iTunes operates on the m4p format. If our entire digitized library is in mp3 format, can those tunes be transferred as-is to an iPod, or would we have to re-buy everything officially from iTunes in order to be playable? Or convert the files somehow?

Memo to my darling elder daughter: repeatedly screaming your head off in your room, and then trying to convince me you need help because you had momentary "difficulty breathing", does not work.
