And in non-violent news.... (tl;dr)

The rest of my week last week was ... eh, ok. Did ... stuff (uh, I think I ran 3 miles, went to the grocery store and ... I don't know what else) Thursday morning, worked the school library in the afternoon, and went to TKD that night. ( We were promised a mock tournament, but, alas, earwax )

miniplu, recipes, books, exercise, baking, music, tae kwon do, achievements, garden, shopping

Just reading through all that makes me feel tired -- I don't know how you do it!

"There was no sacristy, no statues of Mary, Joseph or Jesus, no tabernacle, no permanent baptismal font!" Heh - apparently we need to get out more. :P

Heh, but it is pretty impressive (to me, anyway) she noticed and catalogued all that :)

Congrats to MiniPlu over what sounds like a successful first recital (despite what she might feel)

Heh, MiniPlu's reaction to her first non-Catholic church is the opposite of my first visit to a Catholic church. I was particularly blind-sided by the full-colour crucifixion statue.

I forgot everything else that I wanted to say because my jaw dropped over your run! You rock!! I think it had something to do about the recital, which is great. And I'm still amazed that you are doing TKD. Very cool. You probably don't know this, but I um, got fired and am currently unemployed and have been taking Bella to all of her TKD classes, which I so enjoy. I have often thought that for all the time I sit on my butt and watch, I should be doing it too and getting healthier. You DID this. I admire you.
