Thankfully, MiniPlu's stomach bug was short-lived. By mid-morning Tues the worst was over and she went back to TKD camp on Wed - not quite 100%, but pretty good ( Read more... )

Sounds like a busy week! I hope MiniPlu enjoys band camp and doesn't have too much trouble getting up.

I've never heard of Teen Beach Movie; is it a Disney Channel thing?

Yep, one of their Original Movies. Came out about 2 weeks ago, and it seemed like it was going to be pretty stupid, but it actually is kind of cute.

Saturday MiniPlu attended the Red Cross Babysitting Course, which was 7.5 hours long.

Wow, that's pretty hardcore! (The child safety/CPR class we took when I was expecting L was a lot shorter than that XD)

I have not heard of the Teen Beach Movie, either, but I expect I shall once L goes back to school XD

They apparently roleplayed various situations, learned how to change a diaper, they got pointers on how much to charge, what to bring, information to know, etc, as well as basic first aid training. I think they also learned how to do the breathing part of CPR, but not the chest compressions, and also learned how to do the Heimlich.
