MASTER POST: Love So Sweet [an Ohno Satoshi love story]

Jan 01, 2011 13:15

Pairing: Ohno/OC, Arashi/non-Johnny's females
Rating: G - PG-13
Genre: Romance, friendship, family
Status: Complete
Disclaimer: I don't own any of Arashi, or anything of Johnny's Entertainment.  And sorry if I've misused any Japanese phrases.

Summary: Sakurai Sho is the cousin of our heroine, the young Rina.  She has not seen Sho since she was a little girl growing up in the US.  But now, Rina is in Japan as an exchange student and is living with the Sakurai family.  Through Sho, she meets the charming, baka power-group Arashi and falls into the strange world of the entertainment industry.  She had come to Japan for her music, not for love.  Never had she anticipated how much she would be changed by a certain unexpected, adorable Leader.

Ohno Satoshi certainly is not the romantic, suave type, and could really care less about love.  He is content with being the extremely talented (yet sleepy) Riida of Arashi, and doing art and going fishing.  But when his Sho's pretty cousin suddenly enters his life, he suddenly has something worth fighting for.

Chapter 1: “What, are you Yakuza?  That would explain this car…” she grinned.
Chapter 2: Sho groaned, leaning back in his chair.  “Not now¸Nino-kun…  You’re going to scare Rina-chan away on her first day here.”
Chapter 3: Your chance to be a Reality TV star!
Chapter 4: He steadied his breathing - so far, so good.  She wasn’t giving him a ‘creeper alert’ look, so...
Chapter 5: “Absolutely NOT!” Sho cried...
Chapter 6: “How lovely, the period of youth, ne!”    “She’s brimming with youth, ne!”
Ohmiya digression: He would probably never admit it, but he was glad that he had this stable, baka guy in his life.
Chapter 7: “Kirei…” he murmured...
Chapter 8: "... Ganbarimasu! - With the piano that is, not with the boy hunting - haha, gosh…”
Chapter 9: “Ahno… is the coast clear?” Rina asked cautiously.
Chapter 10: Honestly, he couldn’t imagine doing anything else.  Except… maybe fishing.
Chapter 11:  “Don’t worry about that.  It’ll be fun~”  He leaned down closer, and his sweet smile was irresistible.
Chapter 12: Naturally and gently as not to startle her, he wound one hand around her small waist... sending electricity through Rina’s toes.
Chapter 13: “...  I have a disguise.  It works every time.” he grinned...  He stuck his chin out.  It wasn’t effective at all.
Chapter 14: Though we are laughing now, how much pain did we have to suffer before we could recover these smiles of ours?
Chapter 15: Aiba grinned.  “Katsumi-chan, guess what?  There are co-ed hotsprings.” Sho smacked him and gave him a warning look.  “Hentai!”
Chapter 16, part 1: Kanpeki ne… he thought to himself.  Yosh, I’ll do it tonight. Once he set his mind on something, he moved fast forward.
Chapter 16, part 2: He took a deep breath; his feelings were overflowing, and there wasn’t anything stopping them at this point.
Chapter 17 (with Matsujun-centric dedication): ... it was the most nerve wracking thing in the world to be so vulnerable.
Chapter 18, part 1: “What was your first love like?”
Chapter 18, part 2:  Michiyo smirked.  “You know what they say about guys who can dance.”
Chapter 19: With a pounding heart, he softly put his lips to hers.
Chapter 20, part 1: “A twenty-eight year old man cannot possibly NOT want anything but that, Rina!  And by “that” I mean sex, obviously!..."
Chapter 20, part 2: Arashi as a whole would be jeopardized.  It was a long way down to ruin.
Chapter 21: It was unexpected, but he really could get pissed when it was for the right reasons.
Chapter 22, part 1:  The score - life: 1, Sakurai Sho: 0.
Chapter 22, part 2:  "... And most of all, I think he loves you."
Chapter 23: “You only have one hour to spare? Let’s go quickly.” She pulled him along to the local aquarium.
Chapter 24: “Where IS he?” Sho fumed. “Where’s Ohno?!”
Chapter 25: How unbelievable was it that they’d been together even before they became ‘Arashi’?
Chapter 26: Without another word, Ohno turned and walked out.
Chapter 27: That was when, she believed, she had slowly started falling in love with him.
Chapter 28: His lip quivered, and he looked absolutely disoriented.  “My… my mother’s in the hospital.” he whispered hoarsely, tears threatening to spill.  “I have… to go see her.”
Chapter 29: Satoshi smirked.  He could definitely do that...  “…  Daisuki da yo,” he murmured, and put his lips to hers.
Chapter 30: If it counts for anything, I still think you’re cute even with your dark complexion ^_^~
Chapter 31: Little Sho-pon grinned at the camera over Ohno’s shoulder.
Chapter 32: She pulled away, and with a grin, pushed the poor guy out the door...
Chapter 33: “Eh? The tsuribaka can’t play kingyo-sukui?” his sister Mina exclaimed teasingly.
Chapter 34: The fire crackled warmly and the night waves rushed like pulsing music...
Chapter 35: Even though it was like a whole other world to her, she felt like she belonged there.
Chapter 36: “Do you like being married, Yamaguchi-kun?” Ohno suddenly, quietly asked.
Chapter 37, part 1: "... now I can face all those things I was running away from back home."
Chatper 37, part 2: “Distance doesn’t mean a thing.”
Chapter 38, part 1: “…  Even from now on, each and every one of you, please continue to stay by our side.  Thank you very much.”
Chapter 38, part 2: As the entire stadium chanted for an encore, she quietly slipped away.
Chapter 38, part 3: One highly anticipated event would concretely reunite Rina and Satoshi, however: Sakurai Sho was getting married.
Chapter 39, part 1: Three years later...
Chapter 39, part 2: Whoever this "Sammy" was, he was certainly a curious soul.
Chapter 40, part 1: Seamlessly, their two paths were diverging into one once again.
Chapter 40, part 2: ... because finally, he realized she was worth fighting for.
Chapter 41: “I’m taking you out for a ride!” he announced dramatically, gesturing widely to the little rented motor scooter beside him.
Chapter 42: He put it bluntly.  “You should start calling me Satoshi.”
Chapter 43: "... I should have told you a long time ago."
Chapter 44: “I knew I wasn’t mean to drive.” Ohno joked.
Chapter 45: Slowly, he got down on one knee...
Chapter 46: This was their sweet happiness.

Interlude found in Yume de ii Kara (set in Nov. 2010) : He knew that one day, he’d come back for her.
Interlude #2:  "What I'm trying to say is - I'm unexpectedly tough."
