Ville paused outside the door to Bam’s room looking at the security guard. “Your new,” He said.
The guard nodded tipping his head. “Yes sir, I changed shifts with Office Kigriki this morning,” He said.
Ville nodded. “Oh,” He paused. “And you are?”
The guard smiled. “Detective Jinori,” He supplied.
“Detective?” Ville questioned.
“Yes, sir your brother is officially under investigation.” Jinori stated.
“Bam’s under investigation?” He asked.
“No,” The detective said smiling lightly. “I’m sorry, your other brother, Jess.” He said.
“Oh,” Ville nodded. “That makes sense.” He said with a chuckle.
The detective nodded lightly. “Yes sir.”
Ville pulled his card out and ran it through the key card slot and stepped into the room shutting it behind him. He walked slowly over to the bed. Bam is still curled onto his side but he’s awake now stareing blankly out the window. Ville sighed the boy had stayed like that the whole night either whimpering and crying softly to himself, being completely passed out like someone had drugged him or just staring blankly.
“Hey Bam,” Ville said softly moving into Bam’s line of sight.
Bam blinked slowly and looked at him tiredly. He didn’t say anything and Ville feared the boy wouldn’t say anything. “Hi, Ville.” He voice rough from the screaming he’d done yesterday evening.
“How are ya feeling buddy?” Ville asked slowly setting a duffle bag down on the table.
Bam shrugged slowly rolling onto his back to look at Ville. “Alright I suppose,” He said slowly.
Ville nodded. “Well, the doctor said you can leave,” He said softly.
Bam looked at him nervously he arched an eyebrow slowly. “Your not just playing with me?” He asked softly.
Ville shook his head. “Nope, I’ve got some clothes for you,” he said patting the duffle bag. “I’m gonna help you get dressed and then will head to the hotel were staying at for the gig tomorrow.”
Bam nodded slowly and pushed the blanket off his knees. He slowly swung his feet to the floor. “Lets go,” He said softly.
Ville smiled and unzipped the bag and pulled out a few pieces of cloths handing them to Bam but not looking at him to give him a bit of privacy. When the boy was finally dressed Ville helped him with his shoes. His hands were stiff and uncertain due to the bandage now wrapped around his right hand.
“There we go,” Ville said smiling softly.
Bam smiled back almost nervously. “We can leave?” He asked softly.
Ville nodded. “Yep, come on Chad and Deron are waiting, their dying to see you.” He said.
Bam nodded slowly. “Yeah?” He asked looking at him.
Ville looked down at Bam and quickly looked up again as the door to the left of them opened and a very flustered looking Deron and Chad stepped out. Ville arched an eyebrow then shook his head. “We all ready to go?” He asked.
Chad nodded and hugged Bam back when Bam came over hugging him tentatively.
Chad kissed Bam’s forehead and winked at the younger man. Bam furrowed his brow for a second looked at Deron and then grinned knowingly. He hugged Chad again a soft giggle escaped his throat.
Ville arched an eyebrow again but said nothing. The four of them checked Bam out and escorted him to the car. Deron decided to go in to fill Bam’s prescriptions and then they finally returned to the hotel.
