I lapsed again.  I think my brain just doesn’t want to keep up with this.  Oh well.

I can never get enough money to stop struggling.  I got a letter from our insurance (home/auto) company today, telling me about my rights regarding credit information on my policy.  Essentially they check my credit score in order to produce a “insurance score” which then determines my rate.  I’m sorry, but how on earth does that determine how safe ( Read more... )

I’m frustrated and irritated.

I finally managed to get a call back from a job that I applied for.  Surprisingly enough they called the very next day.  Anyways, it’s a contract position with a temp agency, and the position is temp to perm.  It’s in a call center taking inbound calls, so it shouldn’t be too bad.  I’ve done similar work before and I ( Read more... )

I got the permit for the deck this afternoon, w00t!  I’m going to start digging holes this weekend and since we had to revise the plans, we now have to demo the stairs coming off of the porch.  So I may work on that as well.

I just looked back and realized that I never posted about Jon's job results. His pee test and back ground check came back fine, so he starts his new job on Monday, June 9th! Yay for a regular pay check!
