Wow. busy weekend. Yesterday James' soccer team; the "Teddy-bears on fire" had 3 games. It is a tournament. Won the 1st games, lost the 2nd, tied the 3rd. Today only one game. After the game he went over to Trishs' house to play with Conner and Greyson. They are getting so big now ( Read more... )

17th I took Elle off my car insurance.  She informed me that she wouldn't pay me for it so I picked up the phone and cancelled it.

18th Elle got her car back.  She must get her own insurance.  She still has not paid my parents a dime.

The 13th and 14th were field days for the boys.  They had a good time and did well.  I am still of the mind that participation ribbons defeat the purpose of competition.  Award first, second, third.  That's it.  yes all the kids should be recognized but the ones who excel should be awarded accordingly. *argh* pet peeve ( Read more... )

The Highlights:
I went yard-sailing last Friday and got some GREAT deals.  The local country club community had their neighborhood yard sale so lots of wealthy people selling decent/nice stuff for cheap and under.  Got a Foosball table, that includes ping-pong, pool, shuffle board and a few other things for $20, in great shape, still had the ( Read more... )
