Week of 5/17-5/23
17th I took Elle off my car insurance. She informed me that she wouldn't pay me for it so I picked up the phone and cancelled it.
18th Elle got her car back. She must get her own insurance. She still has not paid my parents a dime.
19th was officially Elles last day of school. She finally finished all of her credit recovery so she is officially a high school graduate!
Friday the 21st we went to Sir Gooney's with the local Marriage Encounter group. We played mini golf and had a great time. Something we will have to do again...at least play mini golf, that is too far away for regular trips.
22nd Last two games of the season. James' team lost miserably but Thomas' team kicked butt.
My car lost it's clutch on the way up the hill to the soccer field. And by this I mean the clutch pedal broke. Free floating now. We didn't know what it was at first, it was Monday at the Dodge dealer that we found out. Of course this happens when we have soooo much to do!
We had Thomas' birthday party at West End bowling lanes in Morristown. He had a blast. I always feel so bad because only a few kids he invites actually come. Heck this year he invited 3 neighbor kids and none of them came (one was the kid whose mom drops him off so I can "babysit") However his two best friends, Noah- who he has been friends with since kindergarten or first grade and Luke- a friend who he has played soccer with for several years did come. He always seems to have a good time, even if only a few kids come but I always feel bad for him. It was relatively inexpensive and well worth it.
23rd Birthday party at Sir Gooney's for my nephew. The boys went with my parents but since we did not have a vehicle we couldn't go. We had intended to, but...
