Went to CA to see my mom's family this weekend. It was a lot of fun. Friday my sisters, my mom, my grama and I went to high tea at an actual place that only does high tea events. I'm really trying to practice every day, but my fingers turn purple after a while and really hurt. I'm still building up the callouses on them (which sucks because I cannot stand not having soft hands) so it's a slow process. Also still trying to find songs to learn on guitar as well; I only know so many folk songs and want to learn more. *sigh*  ( Read more... )

This weekend was busy, busy busy! Spent Saturday at 2 different polling events, one in Tucson, one in Phoenix. So after going to the Laurel's Faire Yonaton made me promise I'd get my guitar from my mom's house and really start learning. I went up to her house on Sunday and picked it up. It's so pretty; it's a Fender Acoustic I got about 4-5 years ago for Christmas. So I brought it home. Then I bought a DVD and book from Border's for about 8 bucks. I started ( Read more... )
