I've been sick all weekend- ever since Thursday afternoon, really- with the kind of cold that hits you really hard and really suddenly but, hopefully, goes away in a pretty short time. It is so incredibly cold down here in the family room. I have the curtain by the screen door open so we can let in natural light and not waste electricity, but this also means that the curtain is not blocking out the cold air, which is why we normally keep it closed. I'm taking three classes this semester-- JCB's "Victorians in Text, Photo, and Film"; a psych class, "Adolescence", that counts for Ed Studies credit; and another Ed Studies class, "Exceptionality." I'm finally back, after a 20-hour power outage!! The entire Metro-D.C. area was hit with severe thunderstorms and even tornado warnings in some parts further north of me (I'm not sure if they got any actual tornadoes or just heavy winds). The campus radio is playing Britney Spears right now. :D I knew immediately when the song started that it was something a bit...dated, but I couldn't totally place it until I heard the voice. It's from her very first CD. And I have to say, I'm enjoying the blast from the past a lot. :)

This is a meme that most people did in Spring 2006, and I think it's cropped up a few other times, but for the last couple years I haven't had much music on my playlist. Now I do, and so I thought I'd try my hand at it and see what it said. Here goes:

I just counted them up, and I realized that with, like, two more songs, I would have approximately enough music to do my own radio show (given my general estimate of # of weeks the show would air and # of songs per show).
