1. Slept in til 10:45.
2. Cut my finger on the bread knife.  In a most inconvenient spot, I might add.  Then again, anywhere on your finger is inconvenient to cut.

We went and saw How to Train Your Dragon in 3D last night.  It was my first 3D movie experience, and I must say, while it was pretty cool, I doubt 3D will take over completely.  Apparently that movie in particular was really phenomenal for a 3D movie, and I could only tell it was in 3D for about half the time I was watching.  That being said, the ( Read more... )

I have triumphed over Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story!  And while I was not a 100% completionist, I did get a high percentage of the (largely useless) items.  Let me tell you though, that final boss is ANNOYING.  I think it took me between an hour to an hour and a half to finish him off.  Ugh.  I was losing patience fast by the end.

bad/mediocre news: our brakes were seriously grinding in the car this week, so we finally got them fixed.  Of course it was not just the brake pads, it was also one of the actual brakes not releasing, meaning it cost $500 to fix.  But I'm no longer afraid for my life every time I drive to work/to pick up rhb...

I'm not going to lie, Nu Skin is a pretty awesome company to work for. Our company Christmas party was last week, and they gave everyone 2 GB iPOD Shuffles, and speakers, and a bonus that was equal to 2 weeks pay (prorated, so I guess it was only like 1 week for me because I only worked here 6 months so far), part of which was a $100 Costco gift ( Read more... )

J&M gave me a tip off yesterday that the DSW in South Jordan was closing, so Nathan and I got very explicit directions to it (since we got lost finding that store last time we went; our map led us to the middle of nowhere before we just gave up) and went on a shopping expedition.  I know, I didn't need anymore shoes; I was the first to admit it.  ( Read more... )
