Bonuses

I'm not going to lie, Nu Skin is a pretty awesome company to work for. Our company Christmas party was last week, and they gave everyone 2 GB iPOD Shuffles, and speakers, and a bonus that was equal to 2 weeks pay (prorated, so I guess it was only like 1 week for me because I only worked here 6 months so far), part of which was a $100 Costco gift card, and an extra vacation day, and some free products. Plus they fed us dinner (although the salad and the dessert were questionable, the main course and the rolls were quite excellent) and gave away tons of prizes (none of which I won, but that was okay).

Then today I went to work and they announced that we all got another bonus just for being awesome. Wow. And it was not a little bonus, either. $500 to all part time employees, $1000 to all full time employees (also prorated, but hey, I will never ever turn down $500 for being awesome). How cool is that? Plus we may even get an annual bonus on top of that if we make our goals this quarter. I am continually amazed by how well I am treated as their employee.

Needless to say, I have pretty high job satisfaction right now.

On another note, it is virtually impossible to find any Christmas/birthday presents for rhb that are surprises. I managed two small ones for his birthday, and I have one for Christmas, and that's it... he either guessed or picked out all the rest. Sigh. I can't help it, I found something on Amazon that was perfect, but I wanted free shipping so I told him to find something else that he wanted, and he sent me a link to the EXACT SAME THING I had picked out already. Incredible.

Nothing much else new in my life, save for a new-found addiction to the DS, especially Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. I've almost beaten it though, so I might have to move on to replaying ChronoTrigger, playing Viva Pinata: Pocket Paradise, and a handful of other ones that rhb got for free off of his game-trading website, goozex. That place has seriously saved us so much money it isn't even funny. At least half our games came from there, and all it cost was shipping to send out old PS1 and PS2 games we never played that someone else wanted. Anyway the only reason I am not tracking down treasure maps in Zelda right now is because we got Castlevania today and rhb hijacked it from me. Actually, I told him he could have it tonight if he let me have it at work today... Don't worry I only play when I'm on break or lunch! (Or sometimes when there is literally nobody calling and no emails to do...)

And maybe now I will summon the energy to attack the enormous pile of dirty dishes engulfing my kitchen.
